Sheffield Theatres launch Hare Season

For the first time in the organisation’s history, Sheffield Theatres are combing all three of their venues to deliver a season of plays by influential post-war playwright and screenwriter David Hare.
Taking over The Crucible, The Lyceum and The Studio, the season starting in February will present three of Hare’s most famous plays.
Artistic Director Daniel Evans directs Racing Demon at The Crucible, acclaimed writer/director Peter Gill is directing The Breath of Life at the Lyceum, and The Studio will be home to Plenty, directed by Thea Sharrock.
Additionally, The Showroom will be screening a series of films written by Hare, including The Hours and The Reader, and the theatres will be hosting a number of workshops, readings and discussions on Hare’s work.
