Up until now, Sheffield sauce meant one of two things – liquid gold or the increasingly cheeky things the lasses from next door shout over the fence at us when we’re practicing our Tai Chi in the yard. But that’s all set to change with the Sheffield Hot Sauce Shop, opening in a fortnight right here in the heart of the city…
Set up by University graduate Tom Grayson, the Sheffield Hot Sauce Shop aims to help Sheffield ketchup with sauce capitals such as Mexico, Jamaica and Texas, bringing together the hottest sauces for a smoking accompaniment to your next steakout.
And if you can’t get out to the shop, don’t worry! Introducing the Saucycle – a wheelie great two-wheeled solution designed to bring the hottest tastes to your door.
