Sheffield according to Jarvis, on 6 Music

Jarvis Cocker is a Sheffield legend. That's why, along with Andrew Motion (whose poetic accolades include the small matter of being Poet Laureate), the Pulp frontman and BBC Radio 6 Music presenter’s words were chosen to be mounted on the wall of the city’s Hallam University (see picture above).
Well, at noon on Sunday, Jarvis is playing tour guide to BBC Radio 6 Music listeners as he steers them around his beloved hometown, amongst the buildings that formed him, as well as those buildings he has adorned.

More importantly, he’ll be giving listeners an insight into the best music of Sheffield, including the work of Joe Cocker, Cabaret Voltaire, the Human League andArtery.
A podcast of the show will be found here shortly.
