Q is for…Q Jump
Wednesday March 28, 11.55pm
Blimey. Town is rammed. It feels like a Saturday night in some sorta surreal alternative dimension. Most of the masses are in costume, be it golfing garb or school uniform. It’s the latter I’m most interested in (not in a pervy sense, like) – I’m heading to Corp for their infamous Skool Disco.
It’s a massive night, and buckets of fun, plus free entry if you’re in school uniform – which explains why a white shirted snake of merry men and womens is wrapped around the block. It’s literally a one in, one out job.
A quick word with the bouncer and the ticket staff and I’m the one in. £1.70 for a double vodka and mixer? That’ll do nicely. Dubious shape-throwing to a few party anthems later and Mercury make with the motoring home.
What’s that? It’s NOT Sunday tomorrow? Aw sheesh…
