Present Tents! Cosy up with The Leadmill's 'Nestival' tomorrow night…
We love a Festival here at Exposed. It's like a holiday, musical education and Bear Grylls fever dream all rolled into one!
But after a weekend tripping over tent flags, sleeping under the stars (we used our tent for clothing – long story…) and chipping loved ones out of caked mud we started to miss the home comforts.
That's where The Leadmill's toasty warm Charity Fest comes in! It's a whistle stop tour of Sheffield's brightest and newest musical talents, all under one roof (and two stages) with nary a welly in sight. Featuring the likes of The Velotones' Kasabian Kavortings, Blessa's electric shoegaze and Steel Trees' Rock-Sludge-Angst-Gunk, it's a music fest without the mess. And if that doesn't warm the cockles, the fact that all proceeds from the super-reasonable £2 entrance fee go to Sheffield's Childrens Hospital and Headway should warm the cockles…
It all kicks off this Saturday January 28th at 6.30pm. Visit The Leadmill's Facebook Event Page or website for more info.
We'll be reporting live from the event via our Twitter account on the night with exclusive chats, videos and gossip, so if you can produce a doctor's note you can feel free to enjoy the whole experience from the safety of your laptop!
But that's not all! To get you in the mood, we've got a free Leadmill Golden Pass to give away to the best Nestival photo from yourselves! Upload a photo of your home festival – whether it's a dining table den or – to Facebook and tag us in it. We'll upload the best to our Facebook Page and pick a winner Monday.
Here's Exposed's Rob, Roxy and Carl enjoying the vibes at 'Radiator Fest' this lunchtime. Dignity not pictured.
