But try as we might we couldn't find a way (or extension leads) to make the likes of Nine Ladies and Odin Mine work. The outlook was indeed cloudy – until a fortuitous meeting at the crossroads…
 
The Devil's Arse isn't the most auspicious of names (the moniker is based on the indescribable noises that eminate from this jagged scar in the Peak District hillside) but as bottomlessly beautiful caverns go it's a winner. And ho boy does it have the best tunes. Today we debuted the second track of Pistola Kicks' session – the Doves-ey, Police-ey, Sigur Ros-ey gorgeousness that is 'Seagulls/For Us' …
