Pedal Gear Solid – Bicycle Cinema is here!

If you're looking to work off a little of that hotdog timber repeated visits to the movies have built up, Cycle to the Cinema might just get you in the saddle…

The latest venture from Sheffield Adventure Film Festival and Buxton Adventure Festival organiser Matt Heason, it's based on a simple concept; cycle to the cinema then watch a film that focuses on adventurous sports. On Tuesday August 6th the team will be showing A Year in Yellow, a documentary that follows Bradley Wiggins’ amazing 2012 journey which saw him win the Tour de France as well as triumphing at the Olympics.

The cinema in question is the National Trust's Woodland Discovery Centre at Longshaw Estate in the Peak District, and tickets cost just £6 plus an extra two quid if you fancy having tea, coffee and cake when you reach the cinema.
