November is looking hot at The Harley and Queens Social

November is a busy month for The Harley. With live music and tasty burgers on the menu it’s time to start party season early, put your middle finger up to those dark, bleak nights and indulge yourself with some decent nights out.

Remember the noughties? C’mon, it wasn’t that long ago! Somewhere in-between pop punk and nu metal you’d find rock ‘n’ rollers The Icarus Line. The hard hitting Americans never really made the grade like some of their contemporaries did but they are still going, unlike them, still as hard hitting, this show at The Harley on the 18th has the potential to be insane. The 21st is going to be a very different night but another crazy good one as Brolin headline. The EDM DJ/producer has been riding the wave of critical acclaim in the past twelve months with chilled beats that are a real treat, so get your dancing shoes on!

Meanwhile, at Queens Social Club… Don’t bother standing out in the cold, watching a half-arsed fire work show, get yourself down to Queens Social and catch the equally explosive Future Of The Left. The Welsh rockers have become one of those best kept secrets so come along, join the cult and be prepared to get blown away. Also, taking to the Queens Road stage are US art-punks Pere Uba on Thursday 7th. It’s the first time that the band have been in the city since 1988, this is a catch them whilst you can moment.  You want more American legends you say? How about Low. The minimalist band who have been around since 1993 arrive here, in Sheffield on the 16th, it should be real special. And finally The Leisure Society return to the city with folk vibes, melodies and top tunes on the 26th. If you were lucky enough to catch them at The Harley last time they were here you’ll understand why they are so highly regarded.

So, if you had any plans for November, it’s time to rearrange and make your way to Queens Social Club and The Harley and fill your live music quota.
