N is for… Napoleons

Wednesday March 28, 8pm
It’s a welcome Mercury ride up the Eccy Rd South hill to the Sheffield institution that is Napoleons.
Often the perfect ending to an evening, it’s worth noting they also offer the perfect start courtesy of their fab restaurant. Hand on heart, the best steak I ever had was here.
For a dining establishment that combines inventiveness with quality and affordability, it can’t be faulted. Given the long night ahead, fuel for the tank is required, so I tuck into an assortment of breads, a starter of smoked trout pate and toast, and a main of Pork, apple & blue cheese suet pudding – all washed down with a bottle of the house red and rounded off with a selection of cheeses.
As always, service was impeccable and I could’ve quite happily made a real night of it here. Alas, no rest for the wicked though. I’ve got an O to cover – TAXXXIII…
P.S Check out this ace event next week.
