Musical Youth

A new initiative targeted at the city’s 11-18 age group in the shape of the Tramlines Youth Music festival is set to give an outlet to creative teens across the steel city.
Coordinator, Alan Deadman, commented: “We want all talented youth between the ages of 11 and 18 who want to take part to get in touch. We’re particularly keen to hear from young bands, producers, dancers, film makers and soloists.’
The event will be held on Saturday July 24 at Corporation on Milton Street, with a day session running from 11am-6pm, while a 14+ gig will be taking place at the club in the evening.
The event hopes to involve a wide cross-section of young creatives from across the city while enjoying the backing of youth groups and charities across Sheffield.
