Musical Worship At The Church House

And on the 7th day the Good Lord said "let there be awesome live music, mouthwatering food and quality booze" (or something along them lines)…

Take a stroll down the old pathways of St James Street and you will come across new(ish) Sheffield venue The Church House. Tucked neatly away next to Sheffield’s Cathedral it’s a particularly handsome public house with an ecclesiastical twist, home to great beers, ales and delectable foods.

Now that the hard working monks at The Church House have perfected the art of pleasuring your taste buds, they have decided to deliver some musical miracles for your ears to enjoy. Once a month the new venue will host a live music evening, showcasing the latest bands and artists for the assembled congregation to enjoy.

The musical procession begins on Wednesday 24th April with Sheffield 3 piece AK47, bringing to you the very best of 80’s pop, new wave & electronica. Expect covers from the likes of Depeche Mode, Spandau Ballet and we daresay a cheeky Aha track! Seamless vocal harmonies with plenty of keyboard and sax combine to take you back to when it was acceptable in the 80’s.

The venue is always on the hunt for up and coming Sheffield artists, so if you feel up to the challenge of playing an up and coming Sheffield live spot get in touch here or phone 0114 275 1832.

Sounds positively heavenly doesn’t it? Make sure to pop down and wet your whistle at The Church House on the 24th of April, pull up a pew and enjoy some songs of praise. Amen.
