Music In The Gardens

It’s spring and the weather has started to pick up, we are looking towards summer and the plethora of outdoor events coming your way. One definitely not to miss is Music In The Gardens back for its 6th year.

The event started out as a small live music concert in the Botanical Gardens but has since gone on to become a staple of the Sheffield summer events calendar.

Organised by the combined efforts of the Rotary Clubs of Sheffield, the event acts as platform to raise significant amounts of money for local charities as well as putting on some great live entertainment.

The highlight of the four day festival is sure to be local hero Paul Carrack. Once of ‘Roxy Music’ and ‘Mike and The Mechanics’, Carrack has also had great success as a session musician working with the likes of The Smiths, BB King, Eric Clapton and Elton John.

He will be performing some of his solo hits as well as covering a number of well known collaborations. Supported comes in the form of non other than Music In The Gardens favourites Dizzy Club.

All the festivities will be kicking off on June 29and will continue until July 2, tickets are already on sale, but don’t hang around because they are expecting to sell out quickly. Visit www.musicinthegardens.co.uk/tickets to snap up yours.
