The Basics:
The fourth album from veritable doom merchant Micah P Hinson emerges and despite my positive outlook, it’s sucking my will to live. For those not in the know, Hinson’s only 29 or so, but has not only spent time as a homeless, but had his fair share of ‘medication’ and ‘friendly ladies’.
The Verdict:
You think he’d be a bit happier now, what with having a record deal and all that. He’s not. Back on topic, the best that can be said about this is that at times it brings to mind the likes of The National, only in a more depressing manner.
