McKee Goes Musical

September 12 – October 14 sees Pete McKee’s new gallery ‘A Month of Sundays’ hosting a new music based exhibition.
Several artists from graphic design, music and art backgrounds, have already signed up to participate in the unique event titled ‘Cover Version’. Each artist will design a 12’’ album of their choice featuring lyrical or pictorial representations of what the music means to them. An impressive list of talent have signed up so far – including Richard Hawley, Kid Acne, 6 music’s Mark Riley, Cartoonist Tony Husband and Ian Anderson from The Designers Republic. “As a child, I would’ve loved to have been a pop star – in fact I spent several years focusing on honing my talent before becoming an artist,” declared Pete, “This exhibition enables me and my guest artists to demonstrate their own passion for music. I can’t wait to start painting my own 12”… the only problem I have now is how to choose just one!” Further details of the event will be announced at a later date, head to for more.
