Local Heroes

The music heads of Sheffield are aiming to make 2014 our year of music. With this in mind the clever clogs at Plug launched Propa Local at the end of January and this monthly event is designed to take everything that’s good about Sheffield’s music scene and put it right up there for everyone to see.

Each event will feature live sets from 3 bands but they plan to make the headliner a secret to keep you all on your toes!

There will be a totally unique vibe, with the DJ on the night playing solely local music focusing on the unsigned bands of Sheffield.

They’re planning for event-goers to be able to pick up merchandise and vinyl’s from pretty much any Sheffield musician so you can really get behind the bands you love.

If you fancy showing your support and being the first to catch Sheffield’s best bands before anyone else, head down to Plug on February 14, tha’ knows it’s the place to be!

You can catch live music from The North (pictured below), Monoking and The Bone Lab during this month's gig and you also get free entry to Propaganda straight after the event as well if you want to extend the merriments in to the night.
