Josh T Pearson

Guitarist Josh T Pearson is heading to Sheffield as part of a live tour following several years of self imposed exile from the music industry.
Originally from Texas, Pearson formed Lift To experience in 1996, who released their only recording, The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads, in 2001. Although the bands were short lived, they gained considerable critical acclaim from the likes of John Peel, who recorded three sessions with the group in just five months.
Since then, however, Pearson has remained largely absent from the music industry, only recording one single and appearing  on Bat For Lashes’ mercury nominated  album Two Suns.
His return is highly anticipated and comes ahead of the launch of his debut album, Last of the Country Gentlemen on Mute Records. As part of a larger UK Tour, Pearson will be playing Sheffield at the Queens Social Club on 24th of March.
