Hudson Taylor w/ Southern
Hudson Taylor are two brothers hailing from the outskirts of Dublin. Harry and Alfie started out by busking on the streets of Ireland’s capital but have since been very busy gracing the stages of Glastonbury, Longitude, Camp Bestival, Bestival and Cambridge Folk Festival.
They make captivating folk-pop songs and have a seemingly effortless knack for ear-worming melodies and gentle anthems.
2013 was a pretty incredible year for the lads, which included a supporting slot on Jake Bugg’s tour and playing two sets in one day at The Rolling Stones’ show in Hyde Park.
Their EPs have sold over 20,000 copies to date and song ‘Chasing Rubies’ was recently chosen as ‘Track of the Day’ on BBC Radio 1.
So with all this in mind, I suggest you hot foot it down to Plug in February and see what all the fuss is about.
