Howard Marks brings shipment of Nice to Sheffield

Hot on the heels of what's been described as his 'busiest year yet', renowned counter-culture droog, Howard Marks steals into the port of Sheffield with a consignment of his brand new spoken word show ‘Howard Marks IS Mr Nice’ this October.

Featuring a spoken word presentation from his new (and first) novel 'Sympathy for the Devil', discussion of the UK's smoking ban and plenty of recollections from an alternatively busy and quiet life (Marks spent seven years imprisoned in the Federal Correctional Complex, Terre Haute, Indiana) this is a great opportunity to catch up with 'Mr Nice' and get a blowback by blowback account of the author, record boss and international cannabis smuggler.

Howard Marks is live at The Foundry, University of Sheffield on 1st October 2011.

Tickets here.
