FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 GETS RELEASE DATE, INCLUDES FINAL FANTASY XV DEMO CODE (RUMOUR)

According to Gameinformer, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will hit shelves March 17, 2015. It is to apparently include a code for the demo of Final Fantasy XV sometime during 2015, which ‘lets players see some opening sections of the game in action’. After this was posted on Gameinformer, it was soon taken down, leading to the assumption it was posted too early or wasn’t supposed to be shared with the world just yet.

Are you one of those lucky people?

HALO: REACH NOW AVAILABLE FOR FREE THROUGH GAMES WITH GOLD

Halo: Reach, originally released in 2010, can now be downloaded free of charge through Microsoft’s Games With Gold initiative. Reach departed from the series’ multiplayer formula, adding various loadouts, and replacing the 1-50 ranking system with an experience-based ladder, eventually leading to the max rank. If you never got around to it back then, now is your chance. Interestingly, Halo: Reach won’t be included within The Master Chief Collection – even more reason to have this on your hard drive.

You can pre-purchase the game through Steam right now for £9.89, however that price will change to £10.99 once the promotion is over. Originally released in 2010

SILENT HILLS COULD RELEASE ON AN EPISODIC BASIS

This week marks the Tokyo Game Show, in which Hideo Kojima of Konami spoke on how the development team for Silent Hills are interested in the formatting of television shows in terms of scheduling, leading to an interest in doing something similar for Silent Hills. Nothing is confirmed yet, but it wouldn't be too surprising if the game goes down this route as others seem to have done well using the same method.
