Frock & Roll! The Vintage Tramlines Fair Comes Home
Get yer glad rags on! And make sure you're looking spiffing for Sheffield's biggest summer festival.
The nation’s favourite vintage fair is back in Sheffield just in time for the Tramlines celebrations set to sweep the city.
Now you’ll be able to watch some of your favourite bands whilst adorned in some of the finest vintage threads the UK has to offer. There will be 40 stalls exhibiting some great clobber and unique collectables dating back from every era between the 1940’s and the 1980’s.
For all those in need of an Audrey Hepburn style make over then you can pop over to the on-site beauty salon and let them expertly doll you up.
Once you’re famished from all the retail therapy you’ll be invited to pop over to the tea party for a nice brew, and we daresay a couple of cheeky cupcakes.
Lou Lou Glover, The Vintage Fair Organiser said: “Tramlines is THE event of the summer, the city will be packed and what better excuse to pick up some individual threads to show off at the festival. People who love vintage are always looking for something new and unique to add to their wardrobe. What we do is take the best traders in the whole of the UK and put them in one place so you know that if the Vintage Fair is in town you have a one stop shop to get the best Vintage goods and accessories that are on the market at that time.”
A large aspect of Tramlines revolves around celebrating home grown talent, The Vintage Fair opened its first exhibition in Sheffield and has since gone on to tour the UK, receiving huge plaudits in the process.
Lou Lou added, “This is where the Vintage Fair first started so we always pull out the stops to make sure we have one big vintage party. We’re home bodies at heart and love being in Sheffield.”
Sounds positively charming, doesn’t it? The fair will be open between 12-5pm on Saturday 20th July, take a look at the official Facebook fan page for more info.
