Food Festival Programme

With the massive success of last year’s festival, Sheffield’s annual celebration of the finest cuisine in the city returns for another week, from Monday 4th to Sunday 10th July.
This year sees an emphasis on bigger ambition catering for an audience of 40,000 people, each able to sample an extensive array of sumptuous foods and learn about cooking and growing techniques.
As well as award-winning restaurants such as Silversmith’s, Platillos, Cubana and The Milestone taking part with special menus and offers throughout the week, there will be a variety of food masterclasses that will range from home baking, herb growing and whisky tasting, to taking a more in-depth look at topics such as diet advice and food supply. For instance, Our Cow Molly will be bringing an actual cow called “Molly” for ice cream making demonstrations in town.
And there's so much more to discover! For full listings, have a flip through the festival's e-programme here.
And don't forget to check up on our food blogger Clare throughout the week as she will review menus, masterclasses and markets… Right here on our site's food blog!
An event to put on your plate, surely.
