Doc/Fest is back and it's bigger than ever. As one of the top documentary and digital media festivals in the world, Doc/Fest brings together the art and business of documentary making right in the heart of Sheffield.

This year, from 7th-12th June, Doc Fest will be featuring a ‘Tour De Cinema’ exhibition to celebrate the Tour De France coming to England. Special documentaries and fiction films will be screening free to the public on large-scale high definition screens – popping up in beautiful open-air locations at National Trust venues across the county.

Sheffield City Hall will also be pulling out all the stops for their showpiece opening night spectacular with a rock and roll European Premiere of Pulp: A Film About Life, Death and Supermarkets. Expect long pink carpets, bright lights, flashing surprises and an epic night to remember.

There are loads of ways you can get involved from tickets for films, gigs and celebrity events from £8 and mega value passes from £50. The only way to get full acess though is to buy a festival pass from £199-249, providing six days of films, talks, masterclasses, workshops, parties and access to official festival lounges.

If you are a Sheffield resident, and have proof that you have a Sheffield postcode then you are eligible for a special discounted pass rate of just £199 + VAT. Just send proof (e.g. a utility bill) to registration [at] There's also the Doc Lovers Pass for those interested purely in the films, films and more films. At just £60/£50 concessions it is an absolute bargain for documentary fanatics. Click here for more.
