This year's Doc/Fest events at Plug.


Doc/Fest will be taking over the city from 7th-12th June, showcasing and celebrating all things documentary and digital media. Plug are hosting some of the weekend's most exciting events including:


Sheffield Doc/Fest – Love Is All: 100 Years Of Love & Courtship With Music By Richard Hawley

Film screening: 21:30 – 23:00

Screened in the stunning surroundings of Chatsworth at sunset, Love is All takes us on a journey through the 20th centuring exploring love and courtship on screen. Directed by Kim Longinotto and with music from Richard Hawley, this is the celluloid story of love and courtship since the birth of the movie camera; told with spell binding footage from the British Film Institute archive and Yorkshire Film Archive.

Bars and food stalls set up around the outdoor cinema. Bring your picnic blanket and get cosy.

Dogwoof And Sheffield Doc/Fest Present The Guilty Pleasures Party

Sheffield Doc/Fest: Ecstasy, Breathing And The Creative Process 


Barbara Carrellas and Annie Sprinkle have travelled the world to learn new and ancient techniques to create ecstasy and bliss.  A participatory workshop that aims to open your eyes and your senses.
