Devonshire Market Returns

Following the huge success of its launch event last month, Devonshire Market is set to return to Sheffield city centre on June 18.

The first market, which coincided with the Royal Wedding, was almost a mini festival in itself with loads of entertainment, live music and an atmosphere to match. So the organisers have decided to take it one stage further with the second event, bringing in an acoustic stage and launching a brand new food court.

Many of the 70 plus stalls are expected to return while plenty more are expected – organisers hope the June 18 market will attract over 100 stalls.

“The team behind Devonshire Market are all very much involved in Tramlines,” said Exposed owner and market organiser Phil Turner. “So it made sense to use this as a pre-cursor for Tramlines. Expect to see a high quality array of local musicians and bands plus street magic as well as some of the quirkiest independent makers in Sheffield.”

The market will feature a variety of stalls such as antiques and collectables, jewellery and crafts, arts and prints, vintage, florists and lots more. It will also boast a cocktail & ale bar – courtesy of The Wick at Both Ends and lots of food stalls selling gourmet food.
