Deck The Hall With… Talking, Singing Clocks and Candlesticks

The Manor Operatic Society is back at City Hall this time with singing and dancing crockery.

Having had success with Aladdin and The Wizard of Oz the society is coming back in May with Beauty and the Beast. The film was a huge hit along with the musical and with its popularity is set to be “reyt good.”

Richard Bradford, has acted with the Operatic Society for over 25 years and has now been directing with them for the past 6 and helms the show. He told me that the cast, both amateurs and semi-professionals with day jobs, will put on a show popular for young'uns, oldies and everyone in between.

The production celebrates 25 years of pantos at City Hall and are bringing it in with a musical of one of Disneys most loved productions.

Whether old or new, Disney films are some of the biggest titles of all time and near all of them, if not already, have the possibility for stage adaptation.
