Dead Sons liberate 'Berlin'
We’ve just invented the genre ‘Northern Americana’ for Dead Sons’ heat-hazed cinematic sound.
The band – already on the Exposed music radar following support slots with Arctic Monkeys – released their debut single ‘I am the Lord’ in February and the band are now well into the release of the internet-only follow up.
A-side ‘Junk Room’ was launched in May and AA-side ‘Berlin’ – described as ‘a heavy dose of psychedelia, nostalgia, and travel’ is out now to download from the Dead Sons website.
Dead Sons play the main stage of Tramlines on Saturday at 2.15pm.
The band will be recording over summer with Ross Orton, who has previously worked with the likes of The Kills, Jarvis Cocker, The Arctic Monkeys, The Fall, M.I.A and Toddla T .
