Dance Acts Added To Tramlines 2015 Line-up

Gilles Peterson, Blood Sport, Lo Shea, James Holden and other dance acts added to Tramlines 2015 Line up.

Get on your dancin’ shoes as the first wave of dance acts are added to the Tramlines 2015 bill. Acid Jazz legend Gilles Peterson from BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music fame will head the bill alongside the likes of Hope Works resident and owner Lo Shea, and experimental afro-beat Sheffield band, Blood Sport.

DJ and producer James Holden will be sure to attract a large acid-house loving audience as will a a live garage, jazz and funk performance from Henry Wu.

Other new acts added to the bill include Luca Lozano, Pev n Kowton, Romare, Evian Christ, Cervo & JVC, Sumochief and A Guy Called Gerald.

Tramlines 2015 is set to be one of the most eclectic line-ups of the festival’s history to date, with the likes of The Charlatans, Basement Jaxx, Wu Tang Clan and Buzzcocks amongst local bands, DJs and musicians.

Tramlines festival director Sarah Nulty commented:

“We are very excited to add even more fantastic and diverse artists to the bill. We want to ensure that the night at Tramlines is a strong as the daytime. We almost have a continual run of music for 24 hours a day, and with all this in store, we expect people will be getting very little sleep this year!”
