After a successful debut in 2010, Crosspool Festival returns next week for a full week of fun and games.
Running from 2-10 July, there will be plenty of community events to get involved in.
For young families there is Picnic in the Park, or for light-hearted entertainment why not take part in Crosspool’s Got Talent. It promises to be a great night of family entertainment and all profits go to charity.
If you fancy a challenge then why not try your hand at digital photography and attend a photography class for beginners. Or explore creative writing with local poet and writer, Adrian Scott.
The festival also features a street market, art show and comedy night so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Most events are free and the others all cost less than £5. Tickets can be purchased from Craft Angels and the money raised goes to charity.
The main attraction, the Crosspool Summer Fayre takes place on 9 July. A guaranteed crowd pleaser, the day will feature a variety of stalls, a bouncy castle, a band and lots of games.
