Book a Ringside Seat in the Theatre of Wrest

It’s time to dig out your spandex and sweatbands and head on down to… the Library Theatre.

No, we’re not kidding. The National Wrestling Community Alliance are holding a series of exhilarating shows right here in Sheffield.

The charitable academy is on a mission to get the people of South Yorkshire moving. They’re more than ready to grapple the task but, even with a combined experience of 30 years, it’s no mean feat. The NCWA make the professional, Olympic sport of wrestling accessible to the community through their weekly training sessions at the S18 Academy, Dronfield. Those who fancy themselves as the next Big Daddy – whatever age, gender, race or religion – should head there each Saturday.

For those who would rather enjoy the sport from the ringside, the Riot in the Library tour kicks off on 3 March with a thrilling evening of action and adrenaline-fuelled excitement. The night will showcase the best of British talent in the unique and atmospheric surroundings of the Library Theatre. Expect elbow drops, rising stars and some well established talent too as the NCWA join forces with Elite British Wrestling to bring you 'Elite Rising'.

Fun for the whole family. Spandex optional.

Adults £7.50, Children £4. Family tickets available on the door. Head here for more info, or drop from an almighty height on the NWCA Facebook page here.
