Audacious?… You Bet

Independent Sheffield record labels The Audacious Art Experiment (TAAE) and Tye Die Tapes (TDT) have teamed up to host a one-of-a-kind DIY Record and Fanzine Fair this Sunday. Music and art under one roof? We’re there!
Set to be held in Shalesmoor’s Nichols building, the usual retro and vintage emporium will be transformed to showcase trail blazing bands with pop up stalls selling everything from old-school punk to rare jazz and blues.
"This is our first ever DIY record and fanzine fare," Luke Twyman from TAAE said. "We're featuring some of the best underground bands in the country, as well as stalls run by independent record labels, and numerous fanzine publishers and writers from all over the country. The Audacious Art Experiment is a not-for-profit music and arts collective, so all money made on the day will go to the bands who perform and continue to help finance the upkeep of DIY music, art and culture locally and nationwide."
Sheffield quartet Wooderson (pictured) will be playing at the event and support comes in the form of Sauna Youth, The Jelas and The Bell Peppers.
The event takes place on Sunday 28th October from 10am-11pm with stalls closing at 5pm. Entrance is £6 and anyone interested in holding a store can contact the TAAE guys. For more information about the event visit here.
