Courteeners will headline Rock N Roll Circus at Don Valley Bowl next summer, with The Vaccines and The Lathums also confirmed in the festival’s first announcement for 2027.
The Manchester band will top the bill on Saturday 28 August as the festival returns for its fifth year in Sheffield, running across four days over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Following their Tramlines appearance in 2026, Liam Fray and co will bring their God Bless The Band era tour to the city for their only Sheffield show of 2027.
Joining the Manchester faves beneath the Big Top are The Vaccines, whose debut What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? introduced the likes of If You Wanna and Wetsuit, and Wigan trio The Lathums.
The Guest List, Girl In The Year Above and Little Grandad complete the first announcement for the Big Top Stage, while Cowboy Hunters, Cherryholt, Saint Clair, Ist Ist and Yorkshire’s Slates are confirmed for Stage 2. South coast outfit Crystal Tides have also been announced.

Three further headliners are still to come, alongside more supporting acts and details of the circus entertainment that runs alongside the music.
Since arriving at Don Valley Bowl, Rock N Roll Circus has brought artists including Queens of the Stone Age, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Self Esteem, The Kooks and Wunderhorse to Sheffield, pairing its festival line-ups with performances from circus artists.
Festival director Ali O’Reilly said: “2027 marks our fifth year in Sheffield, which is a real milestone for us. We’ve grown with the city, the audiences have been incredible and we’re proud of what Rock N Roll Circus has become.”

She added: “And this is just the start. We’ve still got three more headliners and plenty of surprises to come. Sheffield, we’re going to make this one count.”
Rock N Roll Circus takes place at Don Valley Bowl from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 August 2027, with Courteeners headlining on Saturday 28 August.
