Two-time BRIT Award winner Becky Hill is swapping festival main stages and arenas for a much more intimate setting this November, with a special one-off performance at Sheffield’s Foundry.

Presented by independent Sheffield record shop Bear Tree Records, Becky Hill’s intimate show plus guest DJ will take place on Tuesday 10 November, giving fans a rare opportunity to catch one of the UK’s biggest dance music voices up close.

The announcement comes alongside the arrival of Becky’s eagerly anticipated third album, REBECCA, which sees the singer exploring new musical territory while reflecting on themes of ambition, identity and the contradictions of life in the spotlight.

Described by Becky as “curated chaos”, the record draws on the guitar music that shaped her early influences alongside the dance and drum & bass sounds that have defined her career. Heavy electro production, alternative influences and euphoric electronics combine in what promises to be her boldest and most personal work yet.

Having made her name with a string of huge dance anthems and performances on some of the country’s biggest stages, the chance to see Becky in the relatively intimate surroundings of Foundry is a particularly exciting prospect.

Bear Tree Records has developed a reputation for bringing major artists to Sheffield for special, close-quarters performances, and this latest announcement looks set to be another hot ticket.

Fans can expect music from REBECCA alongside some of the hits that have made Becky one of the most recognisable voices in UK dance music.

BECKY HILL INTIMATE SHOW + GUEST DJ takes place at Foundry, Sheffield, on Tuesday 10 November, with doors opening at 6pm.

Tickets go on sale at 12pm on Friday 23 October, exclusively through Bear Tree Records. Capacity is strictly limited.
