Sheffield Food Festival returns from Saturday 23 to Monday 25 of May for a milestone celebration.

Named “The UK’s Foodie Hotspot” by Observer Food Monthly, the festival marks its 15th anniversary by hosting a mix of well-loved local favourites and emerging artisans.

Expanding into new city centre locations, the festival will feature fringe locations such as Orchard Square and Leah’s Yard alongside previous key spots like the Peace Gardens, Town Hall Square, and The Fargate.

From fan-favourite classics to bold new tastes, local vendors are brought together to enjoy the festivities and celebrate Sheffield’s independent and local food culture.

This year we can expect authentic Jamaican street food by Caribbean Fusion, ice cream and sorbets by Sheffield’s award-winning Yee Kwan Ice Cream and Broomhill’s latest gem, Nam Song, home of the Vietnamese Phin Filter Coffee.

Managing director at Swan Events, Noemi Antonelli, said: “From foodies to families, there’s something for everyone – and we’re proud to showcase the best of Sheffield’s vibrant food culture.”

Alongside some of Sheffield’s best food spots, the festival will showcase live music with performances taking place near The Fargate Pub, and interactive activities from fun 90s-inspired challenges to face painting, glitter tattoos & festival hair by TikTok star Lizzieland.

The event remains one of the UK’s largest free urban food festivals, so Sheffield Food Festival is making sure to celebrate just what the city is about.

Noemi added: “This year feels especially exciting as the festival grows beyond its footprint, with other city centre locations joining the celebrations with their own activities – creating a real buzz across the city and making it a truly shared Sheffield experience.”
