If you thought getting into Not Open; Don’t Come was already a bit of a mission, think again.
The Orchard Street spot, known for its number-on-the-door entrance, loft party feel and standout wine selection, is taking things one step further with a new concept. A speakeasy inside a speakeasy.

Staff Only is a hidden margarita bar tucked away inside NO;DC’s staff room, created in collaboration with Tuesday, a new local events group made up of some of the city’s top bartenders.
To get in, you will first need to call the number on NO;DC’s fire exit. Once inside, there is a second number on the staff room door. Call that and you are in.
The pop-up will run for two nights only, on Wednesday 1 April and Thursday 2 April. Anyone who assumed the first date was an April Fools’ joke would be mistaken.

“I have never been more serious in my fucking life,” says Mike Pomranz. “I absolutely adore a good margarita and why should I have to go farther than my own staff room to find one?”
While NO;DC has quickly built a reputation as one of Sheffield’s best spots for by-the-glass wine, Staff Only shifts the focus to margaritas, working alongside tequila brand Olmeca Altos.
The drinks list mirrors NO;DC’s familiar pricing structure, with three margaritas available at three price points. Expect the £7 Tuesday Margarita, the £9 Rhubarb Picante and the £12 Sierra Norte.

NO;DC will open from 6pm on Wednesday specifically for the event before returning to its usual opening hours on Thursday. The bar’s regular wine service will run alongside the pop-up.
There are no bookings. To access Staff Only, call the number on the entrance to NO;DC, then call the number on the staff room door.
