Peddler Market is throwing it all the way back to 2014 this weekend as it marks a massive milestone: its 100th edition.
What started as a small street food affair on Arundel Street is now one of the city’s biggest and most beloved regular events, and to celebrate hitting a century, the team are keeping things simple, nostalgic and wallet-friendly.

On Friday 5 December, you can enjoy a night out at Peddler with 2014 prices across the entire bar – that means a full evening of drinks at throwback rates. Entry, as always, is free.
And that’s just the start. They’re also launching a brand-new birthday bevvy: Hindsight Pale, brewed in collaboration with Sheffield legends Triple Point. This easy-going pale ale will be pouring all weekend for just £3.50 a pint.

Creative Director Jordan Roberts said: “It’s mad that we’re on the 100th Peddler, honestly, it feels like 1000th. Planning for this one got us digging through the old photos and thinking about the good old days. We spotted some of the pricing in the pictures and thought lets take it back to that for one night only and treat our loyals with some deflated pricing.
“We’re still free entry with shedloads of free entertainment. Don’t worry, the music won’t be a throwback because nothing good came out in 2014; we’re working with Kitchen Radio, Water Bear and Midnight Creatures to give you 2025 sounds. We’ve got the retro pricing on Friday and our super cheap pint saved for Saturday.

“We look forward to seeing everyone there, whether you’re a regular or new to the Peddler scene. We have a great night filled with the usual great pints, banging street food, entertainment and independent traders that make Peddler what it is and it is a great chance to support locals for your Christmas shopping! Make sure to come and celebrate our 100th market with us, you won’t regret it.”
Saturday’s line-up brings even more to get stuck into – including £100 bar tab up for grabs. All you need to do is share your favourite Peddler memory from over the years – whether that’s a photo, video or caption from a night that stuck with you. Keep your eyes on Peddler’s Instagram for details on how to enter.

As always, the Neepsend warehouse will be packed with top-tier food traders and indie makers – and for the 100th celebration, they’ve gone all-out with the line-up. For the first time in Sheffield, Chicken George Jnr will be setting up shop – yes, the same Chicken George once crowned the best takeaway in the UK, and now racking up awards like it’s nothing. Get in the queue early.
Also on the street food lineup:
- B’reyt Dough – Neapolitan-style pizzas from the wood-fired oven
- Phata-Phat Indian – flavour-packed Indian street eats
- Deathrow Sandwiches – sandwiches so good they should be locked up
- Tacos El Pap – Mexican goodness straight from the grill
- Bedda Pasta – Sicilian-inspired plates
- The Smokehouse – BBQ heaven for the meat-lovers
- Madame Crêpe – sweet and savoury French favourites
- Big Mouth Gyoza – crispy, juicy Japanese dumplings

For those feeling festive, Kelham-based florist Rosalia in Bloom will be hosting a wreath-making workshop on Saturday (12.30–2.30pm) over at Factory Floor. Tickets are still available if you fancy getting crafty before hitting the bar.
It’s all shaping up to be a huge weekend, and if you’re coming in from out of town, Peddler have even sorted a party bus from Chesterfield so more folks can join the fun – keep an eye on the mailing list for sign-up info.
Visit next weekend at Peddler Warehouse, 92 Burton Rd, Neepsend, S3 8BX, Friday 5 December, 5 – 11 pm and Saturday 6 December 12 – 11 pm. Find out more about this event at the Peddler Market website here.
