Sheffield’s Rock N Roll Circus is rapidly approaching. But true to the old saying – save the best for last – organisers have pulled together a final-day lineup packed with rising stars and crowd favourites ready to see things off in style at Don Valley Bowl.
The closing show, which takes place on Sunday 31st August, will be headlined by James, who will perform a set full to the brim of classic and modern material. Over the years, the band has managed to rake in over 25 million album sales and remain well known for their hit singles ‘Sit down’, ‘Laid’, ‘She’s a Star’ and ‘Come Home’.
Alongside them are the already announced Britpop icons Ocean Colour Scene, who are renowned for their classic 90’s album Moseley Shoals, and they are also joined by fellow indie talents Embrace and Sleeper.

Liverpool-born singer-songwriter Jamie Webster will also be performing, his modern folk anthems having earned him a devoted fanbase. Fresh off a sold-out headline tour, it is expected Webster will go down a treat with his South Yorkshire fans.
The list of talented music makers goes on, with names such as Freddie Halkon and Irish indie outfit Somebody’s Child joining the bill. Newer acts like Arkayla, Casino, Chanel Yates, Frankie Beetlestone, Lady Of Mars, Matt Felix, The Kairos, The North Weave and Work In TV also help fill out the line-up, alongside South Yorkshire talent including The Lilacs and Sonni Mills – promising plenty of rising stars to discover.
Organisers have had to confirm that Cast will no longer be performing on the Sunday, however, due to supporting commitments with Oasis.
Festival Director Ali O’Reilly said: “The final show day should always be something special – and this one really is. It’s the perfect way to end five days of music and madness in Sheffield. We’re proud to champion both the legends and the next wave of artists – that’s what Rock N Roll Circus is all about.”
