Twin Café launch weekly Pop-Up Café

Twin Café are launching a weekly pop-up café in Sheffield’s city centre on Friday 7th August, to host the first of many #TwinCafeFridays.

The enterprise event will take place in Union St, a thriving workspace that is home to over sixty independent, creative and self-employed members.
Goodies on offer include Twin Café’s freshly roasted, fair-trade Nicaraguan coffee, alongside tasty cakes and pastries from the Depot Bakery.

Profits from the events will go towards Twin Café’s involvement in supporting social projects and youth work in Sheffield and Estelí, including the 393 Youth Club in Hillsborough and Sheffield’s Roundabout charity for young homeless people.

Co-founder of Twin Café, Tom Ramsay said: “We hope that through the pop-up, more people will come to know about Twin Café and the causes we support. We also want to promote Union St as a brilliant place for start-ups to come and work.

“The space has given us a productive working environment at a very reasonable price, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with local entrepreneurs to come up with ideas such as this pop- up!”

If you feel like popping down to support Twin Café’s social enterprise, the pop up café is open 8am-4pm every Friday from 7th August, at Union St, 18-20 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2JP.
