colour run

Student Colour Run – April 29

Join hundreds of participants in this year’s 5k colour run to get fit, get colourful and have some unadulterated fun!

It’s for the students AND non-students of Sheffield, everyone is welcome, from people who’ve never even run for a bus to serious runners and everyone in between.

Not only will you get showered in a rainbow of coloured powder as you go, inflatable obstacles have been added to the course which you can clamber over to reach victory.

The route will take in crazy urban architecture both renovated and derelict as it weaves through the old and new sections of the iconic Park Hill Flats, encounter amazing views across Sheffield as you run along the hillside above the city centre and train station, beginning and ending at South Street Amphitheatre. A 2.5K lap completed twice. The location is slightly bizarre so embrace the edginess!

Their two previous events both sold out, so act fast and buy your tickets here or at Sakis (Division Street), Sheffield Uni Box Office and Hallam HUBS. Each ticket will get you a race pack which includes:

– Entry to the run (including all the colour you’ll be blitzed by at various places on the route).
– Exclusive T-Shirt to run in and keep.
– Pull string bag to keep your belongings in.
– Your race number
– A bag of your own colour to throw.
– Entry to the post-race party.

The run starts at 2pm. Please arrive around 1pm to get your colour and enjoy the big stage madness before the run with a colour fight and mass warm-up.
