Normally the main things that 'pop up' around Kelham Island's watery byways are bobbing ducks and the odd bewildered kyaker...
So we're pretty excited about KI Museum's pop-up cinema this Friday. Offering a programme of five superlative shorts from around the world, it's part of what Future Shorts describe as 'the world's biggest pop up festival...' - including Ritesh Batra's Tribeca-teasing Cafe Regular and SXSWer The Black Balloon, which looks a bit special. Future Shorts at Kelham Island Museum takes place at 7pm Friday 26th October. Advance tickets are available from the Museum reception desk at £4 or on the door at £5. More info here.
