Don your wild side for a weekend of entertainment by Sheffield’s famous river...

This weekend float down to Kelham Island for the ultimate waterways festival - ‘Down by the Riverside’ in celebration of water power, steel making and Sheffield’s industrial heritage.

The event on Saturday 22nd September is part of the Sheffield Riverlution Festival which will see a week of events taking place along the city's riversides in recognition of Sheffield’s waterways and their communities.

Kelham Island will be showcasing its finest attractions over the weekend with a Kelham Island Brewery Beer Tent sure to satisfy Sheffield ale lovers and there's a whole host of activities to suit adventurous types - but if you’re more than a watcher than a do-er the River Roast BBQ and live music might be more your cup of tea.
