When it comes to interviewing the rich and famous, Sheffield lad CK Goldiing has one simple rule: “I’m not bothered about them - I just wanna make sure I stay awake!”

It’s this approach that led him to ask Professor Green if he’d rather be caught selling drugs or go on a date with Kerry Katona… ask Travie McCoy if he’s ever promised a girl he’d keep their saucy pics private, then projected them on a concert’s big screen… and ask Stewart Francis [Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week] if he’d like to buy some ‘CK jokes’ (apparently, “they’re funnier!”).

Parkinson, the ex-radio DJ isn’t. Compelling, he is. Since hosting our Tramlines New Music Stage in 2010, CK has covered some of our top magazine interviews - and last month he nipped down to that there London to film the pilot for his own TV show.
