Genting Club Right On Track
2nd Aug 2012
The Genting Club has announced its imminent arrival in Sheffield with something a little different...
The ‘Genting Tram’ is the casino’s very own way to get passengers around the city centre. The tram doubles as a venue for musicians, magicians and more to keep people entertained as they travel.
The tram made its first journey last Monday, with folk duo You Say We Play, violinist Caroline Owen and magician Thomas Anthony doing their thing.
Entertainment will continue to ‘pop up’ on the tram over the next few months.
Kath Barton, the Sheffield club's general manager said “hopefully it will help to brighten up your day as you go about your daily commute, and you’ll also be in with the chance of winning some other prizes and tickets to our VIP opening night just by boarding the tram.”
Genting Club Sheffield is due to open in the Cheesegrater building in the city centre later this Autumn. The club will include a casino, two restaurants, a cocktail and champagne bar, a late night lounge bar and interactive ‘learn to play’ tables.
