A Grave Business
27th Jul 2012
Savini Cemetery in High Green has long had a reputation for being one of the spookier - and hard to find - places in Sheffield...
Normally, strange figures hanging about in graveyards turn out to be Twilight fans, but recent reports of a masked figure acting suspiciously have had superstious locals avoiding the popular - yet accursed - spot, despite its usefulness as a shortcut to the nearby Lidl.
And now the unearthing of a desecrated grave in the errie burial grounds has led to calls for a proper investigation. High spirits? Or something more sinister? Either way, the discovery of yards of cotton and what appears to be parts from a sewing machine suggests some pretty freaky goings-on in the city...

This is awful!
I hope whoever is behind this is caught before any other graves are disturbed. I've never been to Salvini Cemetery. Clearly a bit of Sheffield I've yet to discover. Might wait until this is cleared up, mind.

Stay away from this place! I went up last week, blacked out and now I have a kidney and a few toes missing.
Yours, minus several body parts, from Crookes
