Theatre Tix for a Fiver, Anyone?!
3rd Mar 2011
For all you theatre lovers aged between 16-26, Sheffield Theatres is coming up with a brand new scheme called ‘Live for Five’, which allows you tickets for only £5!
For two years now, Sheffield Theatres has taken part in the Arts Councils ‘A Night Less Ordinary’ scheme, which has brought over a thousand people through the doors of the theatre for the first time.
This has led to many repeat visits, and encouraged more young people to embrace the theatre.
‘Live for Five’ is designed to use the success from this and kick on by offering 16-26 year olds £5 tickets for preview performances of Sheffield Theatres’ productions.
All you have to do is book tickets and show some ID when you pick them up. Easy ay?
Tickets for the new seasons productions are now available from the box office (located at Crucible Theatre), and will include classics such as ‘Who’s afraid of Virginia Woolf’ and ‘Hobson’s Choice’.
For more info visit the Sheffield Theatres website or Facebook page.
