World Aids Day candlelit vigil
8th Jan 2011
Monday 10 Jan will see Sheffield hosting the rescheduled event to remember those people who have been lost to HIV, both in the UK and globally.
This will be an occasion to raise awareness and challenge the stigma continuing to surround the virus, and show support for people currently living with HIV. Look forward to a candle lit vigil, hosted by Council Leader Paul Scriven, and a live performance by Out Loud, Sheffield’s LGBT choir. There will also be a fundraiser for Sheena Amos Youth Trust.
See you at 6-7pm in the Winter Gardens, Sheffield city centre. Wear something red to demonstrate your support.
