In July 1977 the foundations were laid for the AAGRAH Group we see today. Mr Sabir introduced the first branch of the AAGRAH to the people of Shipley. The family's dedication and enthusiasm to prepare authentic Kashmiri cuisine of the highest order soon became paramount, and gained appreciation. Their passion for food has led to both national and international recognition over the years.
Boasting not one, but two, international UK chef’s of the year, Aagrah has recently been awarded “Best Restaurant Group in the UK” at the prestigious British Curry Awards. Which was a fanstic triumph as over 2,800 restaurants throughout the UK were nominated.
