Culture Cat

Welcome to Culture Cat!
I was born in the good old City of Sheffield back in the 1980’s. A time when dodgy government policy and wide spread recession tore through the city, resulting in D.I.Y development and a serious lack of steel.
So I ran away to London.
And when I came back in 2011, things had REALLY changed.
O.K, so government policy might still be dubious, and yes, alright, we are in a recession. And no, no one is really investing right now, or making steel (apart from my Dad) . . . BUT – things are happening. And it’s exciting. And it’s all here – in your town, in the north, in Sheffield!
So I’m going to find out more, and see exactly what’s been going on while I’ve been away . . .
Happy reading!
